Nivada Grenchen is a brand with a rich history. The brand rose to fame in the 50's & 60's for their ruggedness by always pushing the limits of watch design. The Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver is not a typical chronograph. Originally designed in 1963, it was intended to be a tough diving capable chronograph that could be used in any situation. Apart from the standard stop-watch function, it also has a tachometer and a yachting timer. This piece is from that period, and with it's 38mm case and 20mm lug width, it's a real strap monster.
