After an amazing week at Baselworld 2018, TwoStitchStraps team is back home, and we couldn’t be more excited. Like the year before, we’ve seen a lot of amazing reissues and brand new models, and we would like to share some of them with you.
Omega Speedmaster "Dark Side Of The Moon" Apollo 8
With its brushed black ceramic case, Apollo 8 looks striking from any angle. It’s launched to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 8 mission in 1968. The most interesting part of this watch is its black skeletonized dial with lunar surface motif. That said, we think it would look perfect on our Two-Stitch Coal strap.
Tudor Heritage Black Bay 58
It seems that Tudor is becoming more and more popular every day. With its affordable price, great quality and design, it’s a perfect alternative to the more expensive models from its parent company, Rolex. The Heritage Black Bay 58 pays a loving homage to some of the older Tudor divers, with it's 39mm case and a nice vintage vibe. We'd love to give it a try on our Reversed Beige strap.
Grand Seiko VFA
The Grand Seiko already has a great Hi-Beat 36000 movement, which sets it apart from the competition. However, being a brand from Japan, they went a step further. The new V.F.A movements (V.F.A. stands for "Very Fine Adjusted") achieved an rate of +3/-1 seconds per day. What more could you ask for? Well, maybe you also want a strap that gives it a more casual look? Seek no further than our Cross-Stitch Honey Strap.
At the end of the show, we bumped into our good friend Balazs Ferenczi from Fratello Watches, wearing his Certina Chronolympic on our Two-Stitch Vintage Buffalo strap, which was pretty awesome. If you would like to see more watches from Baselworld 2018, let us know! :)
